Episode 246 – A Beer for Bolshaw

A summer trip to the seaside town of Beer is what’s on off this week as Trevor Bolshaw is our star organist. The organ featured was in fact the first ever Wurlitzer to be shipped over to this country hear it opened in 1925. Since 1956 the Wurlitzer has been in the Congregational Church in Beer, however it’s only been since the ‘Friends Of Beer Wurlitzer’ was formed that the organ came to life. Trevor is to play a selection of tunes that revolve around this lovely 6 rank Wurlitzer.
